Plamir wood plays a big role in objects made of wood. Currently, furniture made of wood not only offers promising quality, but also unique and classy models. Unfortunately, not all types of wood can last a long time in weather conditions that are not always friendly, exposed to rain, and so on.
This will make the wood susceptible to weathering. If the wood is weathered, the wood will create large cavities or pores. Not only weathering, wood can also be hollow because it is eaten by termites, or other insects when it is still a tree. Mushroom stains that are bluish black are also often attached. Well, to cover these things, carpenters usually use plamir or putty.
Know What is Wood Plamir
Plamir wood covers the cavities or pores in the wood to compact the contents. After plamir, the wood will be flatter without holes, so it will make the finishing process easier. Not only that, wood plamir will also increase the strength of the wood itself, so that the wood becomes more durable and avoids weathering.
In addition to compacting cavities or pores, wood plamir is also usually applied to cover the damage that occurs when using nails. By using plamir, of course the wood will become smoother and neater. What’s more, wood plamir has a natural color, so it can also be used to disguise scratches.
